The British boxer will face the American YouTuber in an eight round fight which will be streamed live on the streaming platform.
British boxer Joshua said he will "dominate completely" Jake Paul and "defeat" his opponent as the pair came face-to-face to promote next month's bout.
Former twice unified boxing king Joshua faces social media star turned fighter Paul - in what is, theoretically, a huge uneven pairing - at Miami's Kaseya Center on December 19th.
Fighter's Attitude
"I will injure his face and break his body up. I aim to demonstrate my superiority," Joshua, 35, declared.
"I plan to overwhelm him. That's the boxer's mindset.
"I'm going to genuinely try to injure him. That's my intention."
Respectful Exchange
In spite of those words, a relaxed Anthony Joshua and social media star Jake Paul - typically recognized for his theatrics - were respectful and maintained decorum with each other.
Jake Paul instead attacked ex Joshua's opponent Francis Ngannou and called him "not serious" after Ngannou rejected a match opportunity.
Taking Aim at Fury
Anthony Joshua, in the meantime, targeted British opponent Tyson Fury - and refused a million-pound wager 'The Gypsy King' claims he will make on a Paul win.
"Jake Paul is better than Tyson Fury - he showed up," the boxer said.
"I acknowledge that."
Legitimate Opponent
Despite stating he plans to hurt Jake Paul, Joshua declined to comment unfavorably about his rival's fighting skills.
"Jake Paul is a legitimate boxer," he remarked.
Jake Paul's Background
Jake Paul - who initially became famous on the Disney Channel - has mostly boxed MMA fighters or faded names since becoming pro.
He was defeated by British fighter Tommy Fury in last year.
Financial Success
Still, the relative newcomer is still one of the sport's biggest financial successes, frequently receiving massive financial rewards.
Prediction and Confidence
The 28-year-old anticipated a KO victory in round four or five and asserted he would derail the long-awaited Fury-Joshua bout, which is reportedly in the works for 2026.
"It will be my match with Fury next year," Paul declared.
Physical Disparity
As both boxers met for the traditional stare-down, with their height and weight contrast on show, it drove home just how surprising this whole event is - and how astonishing it is that the bout is actually going ahead.
